This technique preserves the advantages of the original syntax, notably the correspondence between the rendered HTML and the related structured data, and requires little change on the publisher end. RDFa tool developers can leverage the existing deployments of microformats, while focusing new deployments on RDFa for greater extensibility and consistency, all using the same client-side toolset. We provide a prototype implementation of the hGRDDL processor and of transformations for hCard and hCal, two popular microformats.}, issn = {1570-8268}, timestamp = {2008.05.03}, file = {ScienceDirect:2008/Adida08jws.pdf:PDF}, owner = {flint}, keywords = {ai html paper rdf semantic v0805 web } } @techreport{RDFA2007WD, title = {RDFa Primer 1.0 Embedding RDF in XHTML}, author = {Ben Adida and Mark Birbeck}, day = {26}, institution = {W3C}, month = {October}, type = {W3C Working Draft}, url = {http://www.w3.org/TR/2007/WD-xhtml-rdfa-primer-20071026/}, year = {2007}, biburl = {http://www.bibsonomy.org/bibtex/2aa5b500c494e96b780aa3205cc4d11f3/terraces}, abstract = {Current Web pages, written in XHTML, contain inherent structured data: calendar events, contact information, photo captions, song titles, copyright licensing information, etc. When authors and publishers can express this data precisely, and when tools can read it robustly, a new world of user functionality becomes available, letting users transfer structured data between applications and Web sites.
