@inproceedings{schmitz06, abstract = {In this paper, we describe some promising initial results in inducing ontology from the Flickr tag vocabulary, using a subsumption-based model. We describe the utility of faceted ontology as a supplement to a tagging system and present our model and results. We propose a revised, probabilistic model using seed ontologies to induce faceted ontology, and describe how the model can integrate into the logistics of tagging communities.}, added-at = {2009-09-24T14:55:30.000+0200}, author = {Schmitz, Patrick}, biburl = {http://www.bibsonomy.org/bibtex/2414908c3228e0f7975bacbd48218a762/andreacapocci}, booktitle = {WWW 2006WWW 2006, May 22–26, 2006, Edinburgh, UK}, citeulike-article-id = {2898492}, citeulike-linkout-0 = {http://www.semanticmetadata.net/hosted/taggingws-www2006-files/22.pdf}, interhash = {1335f4ef87f951e6edf4fd94f885d3a2}, intrahash = {414908c3228e0f7975bacbd48218a762}, keywords = {flickr, ontology, semantics, tags}, organization = {IW3C2}, posted-at = {2009-06-25 14:57:30}, priority = {2}, timestamp = {2009-09-24T14:55:30.000+0200}, title = {Inducing Ontology from Flickr Tags}, url = {http://www.semanticmetadata.net/hosted/taggingws-www2006-files/22.pdf}, year = 2006 }
