Durch diese Methode werden Möglichkeiten der Produktionssystemoptimierung evaluiert. Material flow optimization through agent-based MES -- Intelligent analysis and optimization of production systems: This technical article presents the methodical approach and the implementation of a material flow recording, monitoring and control for small and medium-sized enterprises using an 'agent-based Manufacturing Execution System' (A-MES). The data collection is performed by RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) technology. Within the A-MES the data is processed for a real-time capable order scheduling considering the current production situation. Using this method it is possible to evaluate the chances for optimizing production systems.
