Description
*** Microaveraging: π and ρ are obtained by
summing over all individual decisions
where “µ” indicates microaveraging. The “global” contingency table is thus obtained by sum-
ming over category-specific contingency tables;
*** Macroaveraging: precision and recall
are first evaluated “locally” for each
category, and then “globally” by averaging over the results of the different
categories.
