Abstract
In order to support inclusive eLearning scenarios in a personalized way, our approach combines design time issues covered by instrucional design theories with runtime support in terms of recommendation strategies. We have identified several issues to be considered when building a knowledge-based recommender system and propose a user-centred methodology to design and evaluate a recommender system that can be integrated via web services with exiting learning management systems to offer adaptive capabilities. In this paper the methodology and related experimentation are described.
