Digital Right Management Systems toward European Law: Between Copyright Protection and Access Control

This paper proposes to lead a general legal overview on provisional and digital solutions to protect copyrighted works.After a recall of the legal regulation framework,the different ways to protect a work will be described,as well as the legal conditions for Digital Rights Management systems validity and efficiency. Finally,we may wonder how this new type of private regulation fits in with traditional public regulation in IPR area..
