@inproceedings{Park.2005, abstract = {The paper describes the changes in performance while using video see-through head mounted displays with five different camera positions. Two of the positions were set above the eye level, one at the eye level and two others below the eye level. Test participants had to complete four different tasks with each camera position. Experimental results revealed significant changes in performance quality with different positions. Camera positions right above or right beneath the eye level were the best in terms of hand-eye-coordination. With extreme upper and lower positions as well as the position at the eye level performance degradation could be observed. Those positions were also less preferred by the test participants.
