Abstract: Intranet-based methods and tools provide support to product development processes. Effectiveness ('doing the right things') is increased with the 'PORTAL' method by evaluation and selection of new project ideas. Efficiency ('doing the things right') is ensured by the Intranet-based product development manual and the included methods database supporting management of the selected product development projects.
