Abstract

This paper presents an architecture for Natural Interaction Systems in order to make interpretation and generation processes independent, opposite to the traditional development of the interaction, typically called Interaction Cycle. With this aim a multi-agent platform is applied, together with a joint action Dialogue Manager based on the Threads Model and an advanced Presentation Manager. The combination of these factors enables: a concurrent execution of all processed involved in the Natural Interaction; the capability of adjust on each moment new goals from both, user and system, into the state of interaction; and organizing both processes depending on the need, opportunity and obligation of generate new utterances, respectively.
