As a result, people with dementia (PwD) have serious problems coping with everyday activities, including orientation (where am I?) and way-finding tasks. Our work focusses on the assistance of PwD during such tasks in complex indoor environments (e.g., full time care facilities). We take an important first step by proposing an integrated platform meant to facilitate the work of designers, caregivers, as well as managers of care institutions.
