Das hier vorgestellte Simulationsmodell zeigt in der Tendenz die daraus resultierenden Chancen, aber auch Grenzen heutiger Methoden auf. Complexity creates scope for autonomous control The idea to control logistic objects no longer centrally, but to equip them with the ability and authority to reach and execute decisions autonomously, is at the heart of the vision of Industry 4.0. Autonomous methods can translate the rising complexity of nowadays value networks into decision alternatives and treat it efficiently. The here presented simulation model offers a glimpse at both the resulting potentials as well as the limitations of today's autonomous control methods.
