We study how different query types can affect the performance of each heuristic and discuss the possibility of using machine learning algorithms to automatically learn good combination functions to combine several heuristics. We also briefly describe the design, implementation, and performance of a multilingual text summarization system SUMMARIST.</swrc:abstract><swrc:author><rdf:Seq><rdf:_1><swrc:Person swrc:name="Chin-Yew Lin"/></rdf:_1></rdf:Seq></swrc:author></rdf:Description></burst:publication>

Training a Selection Function for Extraction.

<dc:subject>dblp </dc:subject>
Chin-Yew Lin CIKM, page 55-62. ACM, (1999)
<taxo:topics><rdf:Bag><rdf:li rdf:resource="http://www.bibsonomy.org/tag/dblp"/></rdf:Bag></taxo:topics><burst:publication><rdf:Description rdf:about="http://www.bibsonomy.org/bibtex/28442ff7eb3437efed693fd3c86d98fe3/dblp"><owl:sameAs rdf:resource="http://www.bibsonomy.org/uri/bibtex/28442ff7eb3437efed693fd3c86d98fe3/dblp"/><rdf:type rdf:resource="http://swrc.ontoware.org/ontology#InProceedings"/><owl:sameAs rdf:resource="http://dblp.uni-trier.de/db/conf/cikm/cikm99.html#Lin99"/><swrc:date>Thu Dec 05 00:00:00 CET 2002</swrc:date><swrc:booktitle>CIKM</swrc:booktitle><swrc:crossref>conf/cikm/99</swrc:crossref><swrc:pages>55-62</swrc:pages><swrc:publisher><swrc:Organization swrc:name="ACM"/></swrc:publisher><swrc:title>Training a Selection Function for Extraction.</swrc:title><swrc:year>1999</swrc:year><swrc:keywords>dblp </swrc:keywords><swrc:hasExtraField><swrc:Field swrc:value="http://doi.acm.org/10.1145/319950.319957" swrc:key="ee"/></swrc:hasExtraField><swrc:hasExtraField><swrc:Field swrc:value="CIKM1999/P055.pdf" swrc:key="cdrom"/></swrc:hasExtraField><swrc:hasExtraField><swrc:Field swrc:value="1-58113-146-1" swrc:key="isbn"/></swrc:hasExtraField><swrc:hasExtraField><swrc:Field swrc:value="2002-12-05" swrc:key="date"/></swrc:hasExtraField><swrc:author><rdf:Seq><rdf:_1><swrc:Person swrc:name="Chin-Yew Lin"/></rdf:_1></rdf:Seq></swrc:author></rdf:Description></burst:publication>
dblp

</rdf:RDF>
