Get your buttons

myBibSonomy

Accessing your personal entries in BibSonomy is easy.

  • Click on the "myBibSonomy" button in your browser and you will be forwarded to your collection of bookmarks and publications.
  • Click on "myBibSonomy" on the left side in the BibSonomy page header (see figure).

Please make sure that you are logged in when accessing your personal BibSonomy entries.

If you want to view BibSonomy's main page, just click on "BibSonomy" on each page's top. A detailed explanation how URLs in BibSonomy are created can be found in url semantics.

postPublication

You can store publication entries while browsing the web by

  1. highlighting the reference and clicking the "postPublication" button shown in the figure below,
  2. directly clicking that button when your publication web site is one of the listed libraries at scraper info .

All you need to do is to drag and drop the button into the bookmark toolbar of your browser.

When you find an interesting web page, you can click the "postBookmark" button shown below and you will be forwarded to the BibSonomy system to add some keywords to your entry.

Javascript code snippets

The code below is meant to be incorporated into existing websites in order to ease posting bookmarks and publications to BibSonomy. It will display a link which leads directly to the appropriate (bookmark or publication) posting site in BibSonomy.

You can find the buttons in the right-hand column on the Bibsonomy page. All you need to do is to drag and drop them into the bookmark toolbar of your browser. These buttons allow you to post bookmarks and publications as well as get a prompt access to your personal BibSonomy page.
