- Can I use the BibSonomy plugin behind a proxy?

- I installed the plugin successfully, but cannot connect to BibSonomy (message is Connection refused). What is the problem?

First, check whether you are behind a proxy; if yes, see here how to configure the plugin for usage behind a proxy.
If you are not behind a proxy, another possibility is that the automatic spammer detection system of BibSonomy has flagged you as a spammer; in order to check this, post an entry to BibSonomy and check if it is visible on the main page bibsonomy.org. If not, you are flagged as a spammer; in such a case, contact our team, we will re-enable your account then.
