Fetching entries
An important function of the BibSonomy plugin for JabRef is to fetch BibTeX entries from our social bookmarking site http://www.bibsonomy.org . This can either be done in user or world mode. In the user mode, you can fetch all entries and tags of your private collection; in the world mode, you can fetch public tags and entries from all users.
Fetching entries with the tag cloud
Our plugin provides you a tag cloud with the most used tags by you, if you are querying bibsonomy.org in user mode, or by all user when querying in world mode. Querying the tagcloud can be achieved by clicking on the Update button on the lower side of the BibSonomy sidebar.
By clicking on a specific tag you can fetch the entries for this tag and manage which entries should be imported to JabRef.
Fetching by tag / Full text search
When searching for a specific tag you can enter it into the search field and hit the Search button. Since version 2 of the plugin it is also possible to search for phrases.
Fetch next
When hitting up the Fetch next button a query is being sent to the BibSonomy API to fetch next amount of entries you have set up in the settings dialog.
Reset
By clicking on the Fetch next button the value of the offset text field is being updated. To reset this value you can hit up the Reset button.
