are special tags that come with a predefined meaning. At present BibSonomy offers three types of system tags which are explained in more detail here.Tag
#
is a key word which defines an entry more closely.
The tags describe the entry and allow the users to find it via search. You can add as many tags as you like to your entry. The more specific are the tags, the sooner the post can be found by searching.
To search in BibSonomy, you should enter one or more tags. The system will show all entries tagged with these key terms.
You can enter tags when posting the entry and you can edit them later. You can also change tags of several posts.
The tags you have entered for your entries show up on your myBibSonomy page right hand side. When you have used a tag very often, it will appear larger than the other tags.
