This article considers the various forms of assessment in dental education and how information and communication technology is being applied to them. As innovative teaching and learning methods such as computer simulations are introduced, the assessment of results, successes and failures is taking on new forms in many traditional courses. The web is also spreading its tentacles into assessment, with the benefi ts of offering almost instant feedback and support. However, technology brings its own problems, not least by making ever more ingenious methods of plagiarism easier. Educational establishments, therefore, must be aware of such problems and have policies in place to counteract them. %Z %U ttp://www.nature.com/bdj/journal/v205/n1/abs/sj.bdj.2008.566.html %+ %^ %0 %0 Journal Article %A Johnson, Deborah G. & Miller, Keith W. %D 2002 %T Is diversity in computing a moral matter? %E %B SIGCSE Bulletin %C %I %V 34 %6 %N 2 %P 9-10 %& %Y %S %7 %8 %9 %? %! %Z %@ %( %) %* %L %M %1 %2 %3 article %4 %# %$ %F journals/sigcse/JohnsonM02 %K dblp %X %Z %U http://dblp.uni-trier.de/db/journals/sigcse/sigcse34.html#JohnsonM02 %+ %^ %0 %0 Journal Article %A Johnson, John %D 1988 %T Mixing humans and non-humans together: The sociology of a doorcloser %E %B Social Problems %C %I %V 35 %6 %N %P 298–310 %& %Y %S %7 %8 %9 %? %! %Z %@ %( %) %* %L %M %1 %2 %3 article %4 %# %$ %F johnson_mixing_1988 %K imported %X %Z %U %+ %^ %0 %0 Journal Article %A Johnson, JM & Regets, M. %D 1998 %T International mobility of scientists and engineers to the US - brain drain or brain circulation %E %B %C %I %V %6 %N %P %& %Y %S %7 %8 %9 %? %! %Z %@ %( %) %* %L %M %1 %2 %3 article %4 %# %$ %F johnson_international_1998 %K imported %X %Z %U %+ %^ %0 %0 Journal Article %A Johnson, Lesley %D 1996 %T 'As housewives we are worms': Women, modernity and the home question %E %B Cultural Studies %C %I %V 10 %6 %N %P 449-463 %& %Y %S %7 %8 %9 %? %! %Z %@ %( %) %* %L %M %1 %2 %3 article %4 %# %$ %F johnson_as_1996 %K domestic sphere,feminism,home %X %Z %U %+ %^ %0 %0 Book Section %A Kitching, Robert %D 1990 %T Migration behaviour among the unemployed and low-skilled %E Salt, John & Johnson, James H. %B %C %I David Fulton, London %V %6 %N %P 172–190 %& %Y %S %7 %8 %9 %? %! %Z %@ %( %) %* %L %M %1 %2 %3 inbook %4 %# %$ %F kitching_migration_1990 %K imported %X %Z %U %+ %^ %0 %0 Book Section %A Maier, Gunther %D 1990 %T The economics of information in the context of migration %E Salt, John & Johnson, James H. %B %C %I David Fulton, London %V %6 %N %P 115–136 %& %Y %S %7 %8 %9 %? %! %Z %@ %( %) %* %L %M %1 %2 %3 inbook %4 %# %$ %F maier_economics_1990 %K imported %X %Z %U %+ %^ %0 %0 Book %A Salt, John & Johnson, James H. %D 1990 %T Labour migration : the internal geographical mobility of labour in the developed world %E %B %C %I David Fulton, London %V %6 %N %P %& %Y %S %7 %8 %9 %? %! %Z %@ %( %) %* %L %M %1 %2 %3 book %4 %# %$ %F salt_labour_1990 %K imported %X %Z %U %+ %^ %0 %0 Book Section %A Snaith, Janina %D 1990 %T Migration and dual career households %E Salt, John & Johnson, James H. %B %C %I David Fulton, London %V %6 %N %P 155–171 %& %Y %S %7 %8 %9 %? %! %Z %@ %( %) %* %L %M %1 %2 %3 inbook %4 %# %$ %F snaith_migration_1990 %K imported %X %Z %U %+ %^ %0 %0 Journal Article %A Watson, Warren E.; Johnson, Lynn; Kumar, Kamalesh & Critelli, Joe %D 1998 %T Process gain and process loss: comparing interpersonal processes and performance of culturally diverse and non-diverse teams across time %E %B International Journal of Intercultural Relations %C %I %V 22 %6 %N 4 %P 409-430 %& %Y %S %7 %8 %9 %? %! %Z %@ %( %) %* %L %M %1 %2 %3 article %4 %# Rexlala %$ %F watson1998 %K performance %X %Z %U %+ %^
