| Abstract: Niðurstöður: Leikskólakennarar hafa þýðingamiklu hlutverki að gegna til að auðvelda börnum frá framandi menningarumhverfi lífsbaráttuna í tvítyngdum heimi. Þeir verða að sjá til þess að börnin séu óhrædd við að bera virðingu fyrir upprunamenningu sinni og móðurmáli þar sem þessir þættir skipta svo miklu máli í mótun sjálfsmyndar þeirra. Þeir þurfa að taka mið af þörfum hvers barns þegar þeir taka ákvarðanir um hvernig best sé að standa að málörvun. Einnig þurfa leikskólakennarar að kynna sér hvers eðlis tvítyngið er því þannig verða þeir betur í stakk búnir til að taka þátt í uppeldi tvítyngdra barna. Leikskólakennarar þurfa að fylgjast vel með þeim rannsóknum sem gerðar eru á tvítyngi því alltaf er eitthvað nýtt að koma fram í þeim efnum. | |||||
