The Office of the National Coordinator for HIT recently sponsored an Institute of Medicine committee to synthesize evidence and experience from the field on how HIT affects patient safety. To lay the groundwork for defining, measuring, and analyzing HIT-related safety hazards, we propose that HIT-related error occurs anytime HIT is unavailable for use, malfunctions during use, is used incorrectly by someone, or when HIT interacts with another system component incorrectly, resulting in data being lost or incorrectly entered, displayed, or transmitted. These errors, or the decisions that result from them, significantly increase the risk of adverse events and patient harm. We describe how a sociotechnical approach can be used to understand the complex origins of HIT errors, which may have roots in rapidly evolving technological, professional, organizational, and policy initiatives.

challenges such as rapidly changing business scenario,
increase in complexity, and shorter time to market and
providing business agility without compromising on the
quality. Ensuring productivity, quality, consistency, cost
effective, reduced cycle time have become a mandate for the
teams dealing with modern enterprise software systems.
Fluent Interfaces is a powerful technique, which help in
taming the programming complexities, reducing boilerplate
code, increasing the quality and thereby improving the
productivity and cycle time. In this paper we will describe
some of our explorations in Fluent Interfaces and why we feel
the notion of Fluent Interfaces is a useful technique for
enterprise software system. We are currently focusing on two
things – a technique for determining fluency of an API and
secondly a methodology for designing a fluent interface. We
will also share some of the benefits and limitations that we
observed during our experimentation. We conclude this paper
with a note on the current work that we are doing and the
future directions.

</swrc:title><swrc:volume>1</swrc:volume><swrc:year>2011</swrc:year><swrc:keywords>avk </swrc:keywords><swrc:abstract>In this paper, the security of Selective Encryptionin
RSA based Singular Cubic Curve with Automatic Variable Key
(AVK) for some well known attacks are analysed. It is proved
that this cryptosystem is more secure than Koyama scheme
from which the algorithm has been generated. The proposed
cryptographic algorithm makes justified use of Koyama
Schemes. Koyama scheme is not semantically secure. The
proposed Scheme is efficient and semantically secure public
key cryptosystem based on Singular Cubic Curve with AVK.
Further, the partially known attacks, linearly related plain text
attacks, isomorphism attacks, low exponent attacks, Wiener’s
attack and Hastad’s attack are analyzed for effect with the
proposed scheme. The Selective Encryption in RSA based
Singular Cubic Curve with AVK for text based documents is
found to be robust enough to encounter all these attacks.
