RDFa. This technique preserves the advantages of the original syntax,
notably the correspondence between the rendered HTML and the related
structured data, and requires little change on the publisher end.
RDFa tool developers can leverage the existing deployments of microformats,
while focusing new deployments on RDFa for greater extensibility

Although its tool for structural definition, the Hypertext Markup Language (HTML), has been under constant development throughout this period, most browsers have been slow to take advantage of all the facilities it offers. At a time when there is much debate over the public future of the Web, it is in danger of partial stagnation. Despite significant innovations in some areas, the field is still open for software developers who are capable of harvesting the benefits of SGML, the language in which HTML is written. This analysis of HTML Document Type Descriptions (DTDs) reveals where some of the opportunities may lie. © 1997 John Wiley \& Sons, Inc.</swrc:abstract><swrc:hasExtraField><swrc:Field swrc:value="1155340" swrc:key="id"/></swrc:hasExtraField><swrc:hasExtraField><swrc:Field swrc:value="0" swrc:key="priority"/></swrc:hasExtraField><swrc:hasExtraField><swrc:Field swrc:value="Mooi overzicht van een vroeg stukje WWW-geschiedenis. </swrc:keywords><swrc:abstract>{No matter how visually appealing or packed with content your Web site is, it isn\&rsquo;t succeeding if it\&rsquo;s not reaching the widest possible audience. If you get this guide, you can be assured it will! By deconstructing a series of real-world Web sites, author and Web designer extraordinaire <b>Dan Cederholm</b> outlines 10 strategies for creating standards-based designs that provide flexibility, readability, and user control\&mdash;key components of every successful Web site. Each chapter starts out with an example of what Dan refers to as an <i>\&ldquo;unbulletproof\&rdquo;</i> concept\&mdash;an existing site that employs a traditional approach and its associated pitfalls. Dan then deconstructs that approach, noting its downsides and then making the site over using Cascading Style Sheets (CSS). By the end of each chapter, you\&rsquo;ll have replaced traditional, bloated, inaccessible page components with lean markup and CSS. The guide culminates with a chapter that pieces together all of the page components discussed in prior chapters into a single page template.}</swrc:abstract><swrc:hasExtraField><swrc:Field swrc:value="396990" swrc:key="id"/></swrc:hasExtraField><swrc:hasExtraField><swrc:Field swrc:value="2" swrc:key="priority"/></swrc:hasExtraField><swrc:hasExtraField><swrc:Field swrc:value="0321346939" swrc:key="isbn"/></swrc:hasExtraField><swrc:author><rdf:Seq><rdf:_1><swrc:Person swrc:name="Dan Cederholm"/></rdf:_1></rdf:Seq></swrc:author></rdf:Description><foaf:Group rdf:about="http://www.bibsonomy.org/tag/HTML"><foaf:name>HTML</foaf:name>
Community for tag(s) HTML
</foaf:Group></rdf:RDF>
