surprisingly little guidance can be found on the actual process of
identifying and resolving adaptations to reference models. Hence,
we present a participatory workshop approach that enables participants
to resolve on adaptations by modelbased discourse. We found that
three design principles influence the outcome of the workshop: First,
we argue that reference model should be constructed as a set of modules
to reduce the complexity of adaptation tasks. The modules come with
a domain-specific set of adaptation triggers. Second, we applied
a discursive process walkthrough. We use the triggers as guiding
questions during this phase. Third, when the participants resolved
on an adaptation to the model, they additionally had to agree on
action items that are necessary to implement the adaptations made.
Overall, our workshop approach closes the gap between construction
	and use of reference models.</swrc:abstract><swrc:hasExtraField><swrc:Field swrc:value="2008.05.06" swrc:key="timestamp"/></swrc:hasExtraField><swrc:hasExtraField><swrc:Field swrc:value="trenovska" swrc:key="owner"/></swrc:hasExtraField></rdf:Description><rdf:Description rdf:about="http://www.bibsonomy.org/bibtex/28c78b04fe54b1970082cb4eee6978013/imtm"><owl:sameAs rdf:resource="http://www.bibsonomy.org/uri/bibtex/28c78b04fe54b1970082cb4eee6978013/imtm"/><rdf:type rdf:resource="http://swrc.ontoware.org/ontology#Book"/><owl:sameAs rdf:resource="https://web-imtm.iaw.ruhr-uni-bochum.de/pub/bscw.cgi/0/208299/30611/30611.pdf"/><swrc:date>Sun Aug 10 18:42:31 CEST 2008</swrc:date><swrc:title>Implications of Work Fragmentation on the Design of Knowledge Management

with process models is a knowledge-intensive task. Unfortunately,
tasks like creating, sharing and using process models are hardly
supported by knowledge management applications. In this paper, requirements
for the integration of process models into knowledge management are

economy has changed over the last decade(s). Coined by Chris Anderson
[1], the Long Tail describes a distribution of sold goods that has
relatively few top selling items (“fat head) and a large number
of less selling items. Surprisingly, the total number of sold items
in the Long Tail is bigger than in the fat head. Examples of such
Long Tail distributions can be found in online book sellers or music
stores. Besides its applicability for business, the Long Tail is
also present in most applications subsumed by the term Web 2.0 and
is often considered to be the signature of self-organized, human-centred
activity [3]. Examples of Long Tail distributions can be found in
e.g. blogs [2] and social tagging applications [4] which will be
the focus of this paper. The decisive insight to be derived from
Long Tail effects is that in this distribution all voices are heard.
This means that for most products, opinions or resources we can imagine
there is a proper niche and a community interested in this niche.
Furthermore, items in the Long Tail are oftentimes related to the
popular items in the fat head and may therefore connect people interested
in different niches. Besides economical possibilities, there is also
great potential in using Long Tail effects for academia, which will
	be discussed in the next section.</swrc:abstract><swrc:hasExtraField><swrc:Field swrc:value="2008.05.06" swrc:key="timestamp"/></swrc:hasExtraField><swrc:hasExtraField><swrc:Field swrc:value="trenovska" swrc:key="owner"/></swrc:hasExtraField><swrc:author><rdf:Seq><rdf:_1><swrc:Person swrc:name="M.
