Gfortran is the name of the GNU Fortran project, developing a free Fortran 95/2003/2008 compiler for GCC, the GNU Compiler Collection. The gfortran development effort uses an open development environment in order to attract a larger team of developers and to ensure that gfortran can work on multiple architectures and diverse environments.

G95 is a stable, production Fortran 95 compiler available for multiple cpu architectures and operating systems. Innovations and optimizations continue to be worked on. Parts of the F2003 and F2008 standards have been implemented in g95. ·
Gnuplot is a portable command-line driven graphing utility for Linux, OS/2, MS Windows, OSX, VMS, and many other platforms. The source code is copyrighted but freely distributed (i.e., you don't have to pay for it). It was originally created to allow scientists and students to visualize mathematical functions and data interactively, but has grown to support many non-interactive uses such as web scripting. Unicorn is an HTTP server for Rack applications designed to only serve fast clients on low-latency, high-bandwidth connections and take advantage of features in Unix/Unix-like kernels. Slow clients should only be served by placing a reverse proxy capable of fully buffering both the the request and response in between Unicorn and slow clients. ·
