Innovation in practice is important if we are to succeed in engaging and maintaining in treatment, young people who are experiencing a range of mental health problems. This edition of the journal highlights a number of innovative methods of intervention (e.g. DBT and contemporary music skills), and assessment for trauma and routine outcome measurement for young people.
