The publication Educating the Net Generation: A Handbook of Findings for Practice and Policy is now available to download. The Handbook is the main outcome of the Educating the Net Generation project. It provides a set of practice and policy guidelines developed from the project findings.

The TAO framework is an open-source project which provides a very general and open architecture for computer-assisted test development and delivery. As upcoming evaluation needs will imply the collaboration among a large number of stakeholders situated at different institutional levels and with very different needs for assessment tools, the TAO framework has the ambition to provide a modular and versatile framework for collaborative distributed test development and delivery with the potential to be extended and adapted to virtually every evaluation purpose that could be handled by the means of computer-based assessment.

KP-Lab focuses on creating a learning system aimed at facilitating innovative practices of sharing, creating and working with knowledge in education and workplaces. To reach that, we develop theories, tools, and practical models together with researchers, technological developers and users.

Wirklich animierte Websites zu erstellen – egal ob mit Video, Zeichnungen oder anderen Animationen – war bisher auf Techniken wie Flash, Silverlight und Co. beschränkt und erforderte einiges an Training und Geschick. Aber es geht noch viel einfacher: Mit einer Videokamera, Schnittcomputer, einer Internetverbindung – und youtube (!) lassen sich wunderbar animierte Webseiten erstellen. Wir finden, dass das eine schöne, spannende, herausfordernde und lehrreiche Methode für medienpädagogische Projekte mit Jugendlichen ist, haben es ausprobiert und zeigen wie’s geht.
