Ich werde häufig mit dem Irrtum konfrontiert, der besagt, dass ein typischer Internet-Nutzer im Schnitt nur einige wenige Megabit pro Sekunde benötigt. Denn diese Untersuchungen basieren auf derselben Annahme wie jene Studien, die besagen, dass Autos in England im Schnitt 24,5 km/h und in den US im Schnitt mit 39,11 km/h fahren. Wozu würden wir dann Autos benötigen, die 100 km/h und mehr fahren können? Selbst ein Mofa würde reichen!
