Abstract
Not vii thstanding other measures which solve
the problem of control/limiting the subspan oscillation
in bundle conductors asymmetric subspan
spacings produce a measure of improvement without
adding to cost. In this work differential interspacer
distances in given spans of a twin bundle
line have been worked out. Actual measurements of
subspan oscillations in the field were carried out.
Observations indicated clashing of conductors ··•hen
no spacers were provided and peak to peak execursion
of conductors varied from 20 mm to 110 mm in
subspans with asymmetric/regular arrangement.
