Abstract

The publication landscape is now full of journals accepting articles on international communication from contributors from all around the world. However the Journal of International Communication (JIC) was the first, and in its 17-year history has developed a unique character based on its interdisciplinarity and openness to a diverse range of cultural perspectives of the field. This essay examines JIC's contribution to the field elaborating on a simple analysis of content and drawing on a relevant Delphi Study from 2010.
