Abstract

Java is claimed to be much easier to learn than C++, but the difficulties most people have in learning to program in both C++ and Java have little to do with language itself. This paper explores some of the differences between Java and C++. The aim is to make user aware of potential problems and opportunities when moving from C++ to Java. Brief explanations are provided for those concepts that until now unfamiliar for many users.
