These values were put on an absolute scale by using, where possible, the experimental lifetimes published by other authors. In addition, absolute transition probabilities were obtained by using line-strength sum rules and the results were found to be in agreement with data derived from lifetime measurements. Comparison have also been made with previously published experimental and theoretical studies.
