Prevailing practice to derive length of the jumper on tension towers is based on trial and error method,
which consumes more time in construction activity. In this paper, we have described details of the program
developed by us. It calculates the length of each jumper of every tension tower prior installation of jumper.
Jumper can be assembled at store and carried to site to install, this can save time spent on trial and error
method. Jumper Length for each loop is calculated based on actual tower dimensions, actual survey data
and insulator string dimensions. Jumper can be cut and compressed at the site store in much controlled
condition and install at site without any trial and error.
