@incollection{Borys.1991, abstract = {Computer graphics systems are now common in the control rooms of today's industrial plants, but the available features of such systems are not used to the full. GRADIENT, a project in the European Community's ESPRIT program, will introduce enhanced computer graphics and knowledge based systems into control rooms of dynamic systems. Within this project, an Intelligent Graphical Editor for display design is being built to support display designers in coping with the increasing size of plants and the growing complexity of enhanced graphics systems. Designer support is possible in different ways, using available plant data as well as industrial and ergonomic guide-lines. Support will be given by adding an 'intelligent' extension to a conventional graphical editor. This paper presents the concept and structure of the Intelligent Graphical Editor and details different ways for supporting the display designer.}, added-at = {2013-09-24T12:08:09.000+0200}, address = {London}, author = {Borys, Bernd-Burkhard}, biburl = {https://www.bibsonomy.org/bibtex/28e013e4cafa58740ba26f498056b217b/b.borys}, booktitle = {Human-Computer Interaction and Complex Systems}, editor = {{Weir, George R.
