The main aim of this study is to analyze the work ablity among Czech workers using Work Ability Index questionnaire. The following work consists of two parts – theoretical part and practical part. The first one follows the concept of work ability on its theoretical level, considers the current needs of the concept and shows possibilities of its measurement. Empirical part works with data which were collected by the Age Management z.s. with the usage of Czech version of Work Ability Index. Statisical analysis of the obrained data shows these results. Men, mentally working and employees with higher education level tend to reach higher WAI score than the rest of the groups. Moreover, there is low negative correlation between age and the level of work ability and between BMI and work ability among workers
