AB: Abstract Describes the development of private higher education in Jordan, analyzing major challenges associated with the privatization of education and evaluating Jordan's experience in meeting the educational needs of the country as well as neighboring countries. Raises questions that have a bearing on issues related to the efficiency of education, commercialization of education, profiteering, ideology development, and inefficient responses to creativity.
