Abstract

Presents a guide to the most common spatial puzzles and discusses how they can be used to study problem solving, spatial abilities, and amnesia. Brief bibliographies are presented for the tangram, polyominoes and polyamonds, the soma cube and box-packing puzzles, colored tiles and cubes, peg solitaire, sliding piece puzzles, and mechanical puzzles.
