The motivation may lie precisely in the resentment that has probably crystallized in Colin Huang's opinion of the West since he retired from Google in 2017, after numerous trips made in a fruitless effort to bring bis expertise, through precise directions especially in the Chinese version of the search engine's interface, perhaps not taken in consideration enough. Just since then, Huang began working on the project related to his own digital platform, up to Temu's predecessor, the Pinduoduo app, not surprisingly perhaps already banned from Google Play Store due to behavior that aroused suspicion through heuristics.
