Abstract
Article outlining the process by which human remains were returned to Australia in 2003, after an initial decision in 1992. The article goes into some detail about the background and consultation and the museum's process of negotion with FAIRA, the Foundation for Aboriginal and Islander Research Action who were appointed by AITSIC to handle the repatriation, as well as presenting ethical and policy issues involved.
