The JISC funded RDMRose project (June 2012-May 2013) was a collaboration between the libraries of the University of Leeds, Sheffield and York, with the Information School at Sheffield to provide an Open Educational Resource for information professionals on Research Data Management.
SEAD is an NSF-sponsored project to create data services designed to meet the needs of sustainability science research. Sustainability science requires reliable cyberinfrastructure and an enhanced ability to manage, integrate, interpret, share, curate, and preserve data across a broad range of physical and social science disciplines.
Research projects need more concrete guidance to analyze and assess the processes of RDM. The goal of this document is to present the first steps towards development of such a model, in the form of a Capability Maturity Model (CMM) for RDM.
UK Data Archive. This suite of web pages aims to provide data creators, data managers and data curators with best practice strategies and methods for creating, preparing and storing shareable datasets.
PyTables is a package for managing hierarchical datasets and designed to efficiently and easily cope with extremely large amounts of data. You can download PyTables and use it for free.
