Una merma importante en las cifras de confianza que los jóvenes tienen hacia este sector de la educación superior demostró el Índice de Confianza Pública dado a conocer este martes. Una cifra que se suma a las bajas en matrículas y el cierre de carreras en algunas de las instituciones cuestionadas. Analistas y dirigentes estudiantiles de los planteles investigados aseguran que esto se explica por las irregularidades conocidas y al lucro.
Pese a los incidentes que provocó el cambio de ruta establecido por la Intendencia, los dirigentes resaltaron la capacidad de convocatoria que lograron los alumnos de universidades privadas y enfatizaron en que este es el inicio de un 2013 cargado a las movilizaciones. “Este no es solo uno, sino un gran paso adelante”, señaló el presidente de la Fech.
El ministro del Interior, Andrés Chadwick, se refirió a la primera marcha estudiantil del año -que fue autorizada por la Intendencia Metropolitana- y respaldó el actuar de Carabineros junto con condenar los disturbios protagonizados por encapuchados.
Estudiantes de universidades privadas, que junto a otras organizaciones convocaron a una marcha para este jueves en la mañana, desde la Usach, mostraron hoy su molestia porque la Intendencia Metropolitana recién les respondió a las 8 de la noche de ayer, el recorrido para la caminata, y que varía con respecto a lo que ellos habían solicitado y que tenían preparado, situación que podría traer como consecuencias desórdenes, disturbios.
Los rectores de universidades privadas expresaron que el proyecto de ley que crea la Agencia Nacional de Acreditación y establece un nuevo sistema de acreditación, afecta la transparencia y no apunta a la calidad y equidad.
