The paper looks at the apparent increase in the prevalence of Autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and the need for more training for health visitors and school nurses to help address people’s needs. Ludmila’s findings show that health visitors are exposed to working with children with ASD more than school nurses but school nurses who practise in specialist schools and are exposed to children and young people with autism displayed better awareness of comorbid conditions
