News: In late 2014 MNVO Tucows' Ting made a surprise announcement that it too would be jumping into the gigabit broadband game, buying a small Charlottesville, Virginia ISP called Blue Ridge InternetWorks (BRI). The goal, Ting proclaimed at the time, was to bring "shockingly human experience and fair, honest pricing" to the fixed-line residential broadband market.
