Shropshire Community Health NHS Trust has lived up to its strong reputation for tackling healthcare associated infections by finishing 2016/17 without a single case of MRSA bacteraemia.

This makes it more than four years since the last case was recorded and is an achievement that can be attributed to the efforts of staff in every part of the organisation.
