Die Zusammenstellung ist Teil der Deutschen Datenquellen (German subject tree) im Rahmen der Virtual Library und zugleich des von Ulrich Schmitzer betreuten WWW-Angebots des KIRKE-Projekts am Institut für Klassische Philologie an der Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin.
Das Freiburger „Proseminarheft Alte Geschichte“ geht in seiner Anlage auf das von Kai Brodersen konzipierte und an den Universitäten München und Mannheim erprobte „Althistorischen Proseminarheft” zurück. Gregor Weber, Kathrin Zaus und Beate Greif haben diese Fassung weiterentwickelt, zunächst für den Gebrauch an der Katholischen Universität Eichstätt-Ingolstadt, dann zuletzt jetzt an der Universität Augsburg (=„Das althistorische Proseminar. Ein Leitfaden“). Gregor Weber und Kathrin Zaus sei für die Erlaubnis, den aktuellen Augsburger Leitfaden als Basis für das vorliegende Heft verwenden zu dürfen, sehr herzlich gedankt. In Freiburg wurde das „Proseminarheft Alte Geschichte“ in Zusammenarbeit zwischen allen Dozenten und Tutoren des Seminars für Alte Geschichte im Sommersemester 2003 erstellt.
Einführung in das Studium der Alten Geschichte mit kommentiertem Literaturverzeichnis; Ergänzungen von M. Sehlmeyer (Oktober 2001) zur 1. Auflage des von D. Vollmer mit M. Merl, M. Sehlmeyer und U. Walter verfaßten und 1994 im Stuttgarter Steiner-Verlag herausgegebenen Bandes.
Einführung in das Studium der Alten Geschichte, v.a. den Umgang mit Bibliotheken, Quellen, Sekundärliteratur, altertumswissenschaftlichen Internetangeboten etc.
Umfangreiches Skript, das neben Literaturangaben und einer Einführung in die Methodik des Faches auch kompakte Ausführungen über Periodisierung, Geschichte des Faches, Geschichte der antiken Historiographie usw. enthält.
Der DASV ist der Dachverband archäologischer Studierendenvertretungen im deutschsprachigen Raum, der Fächer wie Klassische Archäologie, Ägyptologie und Ur- und Frühgeschichte umfasst. Der Verband ist in sechs Regionalbereiche untergliedert und bemüht sich unter anderem um die Vernetzung der Fachschaften über die Regionalvertreter, um demokratische Mitbestimmung der Studenten an den Hochschulen und den Erhalt der wissenschaftlichen Vielfalt der archäologischen Disziplinen. Wir wollen den Studierenden ein gemeinsames Sprachrohr gegenüber Universitäten, Politik und Öffentlichkeit bieten.
