Abstract
In this article, the second half of the 19 century – the beginning of the 20 century, the cultural life of the Turkestan country is widely covered by the example of the educational system. Schools and madrassahs, which are considered part of traditional education, provide full information about the pedagogical process, providing detailed information on educational activities, software, the list of subjects to be taught, as well as textbooks.
