The approach is primarily focused on keeping track of changes made to a learning content as well as information about authors and tools, which take part in the interaction. We introduce the Author-Learning Content Interaction (ALCI) ontology, which gives a formal representation of changes and describes possible aspects of the interaction. Moreover, we discuss how information collected with the framework can assist authors during the authoring process and how it can support evolution and versioning of a learning content.
