MAJORING ON THE MINORS: RECENT RESEARCH ON HAGGAI AND ZECHARIAH.

Abstract
This article showcases key contributions to the study of the
books of Haggai and Zechariah and their various contexts over the past 15
years. It begins by listing the many recent commentaries on these books
before highlighting the conclusions of four of these on the key issues of
historical background, redactional formation and literary unity. The
article then surveys the many monographs that have helped students of
these books understand the history, sociology, form, tradition,rhetoric,
