As the name implies, Internet of robotic things IoRT is the amalgamation of two emerging technologies, the Internet of things and robotics. Internet of robotic things is a branch of robotics that describes how to empower a robot with intelligence to execute critical tasks by itself. It is a concept in which intelligent technology can monitor and manipulate the events happening around robots. IoRT is a relatively new field, where autonomous machines gather data from multiple sensors and communicate with each other to perform given tasks. This paper introduces IoRT and its aplications.
