Abstract
A tunable organic crystal laser is described. Cleaved platelets of fluorene containing 2 × 10−3 anthracene emitted polarized light pulses at λ = 408 nm, with a pulse amplitude of 10 W and a pulse duration of ≦ 3 ns, when pumped by a 1 kW nitrogen laser.
