Rifampicin is used as 1st line anti tubercular drug for the treatment of tuberculosis. Tablets were prepared by direct compression containing castor oil as a binder and various excipients. Both the marketed and prepared tablets were evaluated parameters such as Hardness, Thickness, Friability, Weight variation, Dissolution studies.
