novel lossless image

compression scheme is proposed in this paper. We show
how a set of pixels can be compressed using simple arithmetic addition. We
perform
a series
of addition operations on a set of pixels to get an array of sums. Additions are perform
ed in
such a way that we can reverse the whole process and recover the original set of pixels
through that array. Experimental results presented in this paper prove that this new
method of image compression gives promising results as compared with original
LZW
dictionary algorithm, Deflate algorithm, PNG and GIF
