Development of a new grid connected inverter, 2kW/3kW nominal power
and high efficiency in the range between 2,5% and 100% of the nominal
power. The inverter is based on a new concept of using two separate
power units operating in parallel and automatically matched to the
actual power generated by the solar array. The new inverter is particularly
effective in grid connected applications and it is optimised for
the operation with low solar irradiation values. New electronic digital
components are used in order to reduce the losses and reduce production
costs. The price target for the new inverter should not be greater
than 600 Euro.
